In 1992, I moved from Basel, Switzerland to Sosua, Dominican Republic. Sosua is a popular vacation town founded by the German/Jewish community, which is minutes away from Puerto Plata International airport and the world famous Kite Beach of Cabarete. My wife Rhaisa, daughter Nicole, and dog Chiki, calls Sosua home.
